Wissen zum Mitnehmen: Pop-up-Uni eröffnet in der Grazer Herrengasse

Woran erkenne ich Fake News? Was ist Glück? Wie geht Fortpflanzung ohne Sex? Diese Fragen beantworten ForscherInnen mitten in der Grazer Innenstadt. Am 21. April 2022 bezieht die Universität Graz einen Pop-up-Store im Grazer Landhaus.

Zwei Monate lang gibt es dort ein vielfältiges Programm – etwa Experimentierworkshops, Science Quiz oder einen Ukrainisch-Schnupperkurs. Zusätzlich kann man sich über das Studienangebot an der Uni Graz informieren. Alle Veranstaltungen sind kostenlos.

„Wir wollen Spitzenforschung und spannende Vorlesungen vom Campus in die City – und damit näher an die Grazerinnen und Grazer – bringen“, erklärt der geschäftsführende Rektor Peter Riedler.

Der Store ist bis 15. Juni montags bis freitags von 12 bis 20 Uhr, samstags von 10 bis 14 Uhr geöffnet. Nähere Informationen und das Programm finden sich unter popupstore.uni-graz.at.

A group of students from our partner university in Hiroshima visited the University of Graz as part of a summer school. The programme included a cooking workshop on the Planetary Health Diet in our Taste Lab! With great enthusiasm and a willingness to experiment, the students tried out recipes that are not only delicious but also contribute to a more sustainable diet.
