Kann Forschung spielerisch vermittelt werden?

Forschende der Uni Graz auf der European Researchers Night stehen hinter einem Tisch auf dem sie ihr Projekt ausgestellt haben

Rätsel aus dem Escapespiel zum Thema Proteinbiosynthese luden im Rahmen der European Researchers Night zum Tüfteln ein

Diese Frage ist der Kern des FWF-geförderten WissKomm-Projektes „Exit the Ribosome“ der Uni Graz. Die Ribosomenforscher:innen Brigitte Pertschy und Michael Prattes und Wissenschaftskommunikator:innen des Offenen Labor Graz Heide Beranek-Knauer und Lucas Eder, stellten im Rahmen der European Researchers Night dieses Projekt interessierten Besucher:innen vor.

Das Universalmuseum Joanneum Graz war am 29. September 2023 einer der Austragungsorte dieses europaweiten Events. Groß und Klein hatten dort die Gelegenheit, Forscher:innen und ihre Arbeit kennenzulernen. Ein großes Augenmerk lag dabei auf Interaktion. An jeder der Stationen konnten Fragen gestellt und Experimente durchgeführt werden. Rätsel aus dem Escapespiel zum Thema Proteinbiosynthese luden zum Knobeln und Tüfteln ein.

A group of students from our partner university in Hiroshima visited the University of Graz as part of a summer school. The programme included a cooking workshop on the Planetary Health Diet in our Taste Lab! With great enthusiasm and a willingness to experiment, the students tried out recipes that are not only delicious but also contribute to a more sustainable diet.
