15 Jahre Offenes Labor Graz - 15 Jahre Wissenschaftskommunikation für Kinder, Jugendliche und interessierte Erwachsene

Das Offene Labor Graz ist seit 2008 ein beliebter Anlaufpunkt für Kinder, Jugendliche und interessierte Erwachsene, die Wissenschaft zum Anfassen und "Mitmachen" möchten. Das Zentrum bietet ein vielfältiges Programm an Workshops, Vorträgen und Experimenten, die dazu beitragen, Begeisterung für Wissenschaft und Forschung zu wecken.

Zum Jubiläum fand ein besonderer Kurs statt: Der Rektor der Universität Graz, Peter Riedler, und zahlreiche Vertreter:innen der Vizerektorate waren am 21. Oktober 2023 zu Gast und bekamen einen exklusiven Einblick in die 15-jährige Erfolgsgeschichte. Die Teilnehmenden durften - wie es im Offenen Labor Graz üblich ist - selbstständig experimentiert und zeigten sich begeistert von den Aktivitäten und Angeboten.

A group of students from our partner university in Hiroshima visited the University of Graz as part of a summer school. The programme included a cooking workshop on the Planetary Health Diet in our Taste Lab! With great enthusiasm and a willingness to experiment, the students tried out recipes that are not only delicious but also contribute to a more sustainable diet.
